Brewing Kayo-Tea
Brewing herbal tea or tisanes differs from brewing the tea plant
(Camellia sinensis) which includes white tea, green tea, oolong tea, and black tea. Brewing the tea plant requires very specific amounts and steeping time.
-Brewing herbal teas tends to be more a matter of opinion when it comes to amounts and steeping time.
-A general rule for brewing Kayo-tea is:-1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of herb per cup (250 ml) of boiling water-Steep between 5-15 minutes.
