Taste: Very sweet, sour, strong lemon flavour
Origin: South America
Energetics: Cooling, astringent
Actions and properties: Astringent, digestive aid, relaxant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antimicrobial, antioxidant.

Traditionally used for:
- Colds, Fevers, flus, asthma
- Indigestion, nausea, stomachache
- Migraine, sinus congestion
- Protect against muscle damage
- Relieve joint pain
- Anxiety
- Aid in weight loss (appetite suppression)
Other uses: Repels flies and mosquitos
Brewing instructions:
- 1-2 tsp of herb (or 5-12 leaves) per cup of water
- Boiling water (200-212f/93-100C)
- Steep for 5-15 minutes
Contraindications/cautions: Avoid if pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid if you have kidney disease.
