Traditionally used for:
- Lucid dreaming, spiritual connection
- Stomach aches, digestive discomfort, liver issues
- Bronchial problems, breathing difficulties
Brewing instructions:
- 1 tsp of herb per cup of water
- Boiling water (200-212f/93-100C)
- Steep for 5-10 minutes (5 is usually preferred for those who like it less bitter)
Contraindications/cautions: Not suitable for children under 5. Avoid if pregnant. Sweet gale is an abortifacient. Consume in small doses (1 teaspoon per cup), consume in moderation. excessive consumption not recommended.

Other uses: Sweet gale is an amazing, wild culinary spice. Used often for game meat. Similar species were used for making beer in Europe for over a thousand years! Rubbed on skin as an insect repellent. Can be burned as incense.
